Dr Sophie Fenton

Clinical Psychologist

Sophie photo.jpg

I am a compassionate and understanding HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. I have worked across multiple NHS mental health settings with people experiencing a range of difficulties. I understand that anybody can experience periods of distress and life can throw challenges that are difficult to navigate. Some of the issues that I have supported people with include low mood, depression, anxiety, panic, phobias, psychosis, low self-esteem, insomnia, trauma, interpersonal issues, experiences of abuse, grief, loss, drug and alcohol problems, emotional regulation difficulties, and issues around identity, for example.

I offer a warm, non-judgemental, reflective and confidential space where we can work together to understand what has brought you to therapy and find ways of moving forward. I provide both short-term and long-term therapy, and I am trained to draw on a number of therapeutic models depending on your preferences and what you would like help with. It's OK if you do not know exactly what you would like to address as discovering this can be part of the process.
