About me:

I am a cognitive behavioural therapist and counsellor, who is experienced in working with a wide range of individuals within the NHS, charity sector and private practice. I have extensive experience of successfully treating various types of anxiety and mood disorders, including agoraphobia, panic attacks, generalised anxiety, OCD, social anxiety, depression and low self-esteem.

What to expect:

I offer an empathic, warm and non-judgmental space for you to explore and understand the challenging emotional and psychological experiences that you are struggling with. I use evidence-based approaches to help you make sense of these struggles and to learn to cope with them and manage them differently. I provide clinic based and home-based treatments, which can be adapted to suit your individual requirements.

Initial sessions start with getting to know you and developing an in-depth understanding of what you are struggling with. Treatment is then built around your needs and preferences. It is a collaborative process that can be structured and goal orientated or more open and exploratory, depending on what works best for you. The overall number of sessions can be discussed and mutually agreed.
